Russia to cut supplies via Ukraine by volume lacking at Moldova border
MOSCOW, Nov 22 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom will start to reduce gas supplies across Ukraine on November 28, if a misbalance of gas transmission to Moldova noticed by the company is kept, the company said in a statement released on its Telegram channel on Tuesday.
"Gazprom has found out that Russian gas meant to be sent to the Moldovan consumers under a contract with company Moldovagaz ends up in Ukraine,” Gazprom said.
“The volume of gas pumped by Gazprom to the Sudzha station for transit to Moldova across the territory of Ukraine exceeds the physical volume of gas transferred at the border between Ukraine and Moldova."
Gazprom said it will start cutting supplies by the volumes lacking at the Sudzha substation daily from 10:00 a.m., Moscow time, on November 28.
